The Story of Sean Mangrum
Hearthwright LLC was founded with a single, clear objective: to provide St. Louis homeowners with a single, highly reliable source for premium home care, design, and staging.
Sean's professional path is defined by a unique combination of disciplines. With a deep background in fine carpentry, a formal education in horticultural sciences, and years of experience studying spatial layouts and interior staging, Sean realized that the home services market was fractured.
Homeowners planning a refresh or preparing a property to sell were forced to coordinate schedules, designs, and payments across three or four different companies. Designers blamed contractors, contractors ignored design intent, and handymen lacked the aesthetic eye for finishing details.
Sean created Hearthwright to bridge this gap. By offering design consulting, premium carpentry, horticultural styling, and home staging under one roof, Hearthwright provides a smooth, end-to-end experience that maintains a singular standard of quality from concept to cleanup.
The Philosophy of "Hearth & Wright"
Our name reflects our commitment to the full lifecycle of your property.
The Hearth
Representing the center of the home—warmth, shelter, styling, and belonging. We believe every space should feel comfortable, curated, and intentionally designed to match your life.
The Wright
Paying homage to historic craftsmen and makers. We believe in the integrity of raw materials, the precision of a tight join, and structural reliability. We build to endure.
Fix it. Beautify it. Prepare it to sell. Hearthwright supports you at every milestone.
The Three Hearthwright Promises
Clear & Direct Communication
No unanswered messages, no hidden fees, and no surprise changes. Sean manages your project personally, providing clear timelines and daily updates so you always know what to expect.
Uncompromising Quality
We treat every tile layout, drywall seam, and flower planter as if it were in our own home. Our prices reflect the high quality of materials, techniques, and dust control we implement.
Solutions Built for Value
We don't recommend repairs or upgrades that won't add value. If you're staging a home to sell, we focus on high-impact updates. If you're staying, we recommend durable finishes that age beautifully.
